I owned the predecessor of this model and loved that shoe. The sho lokks better, no but's about it, but it uns slighly large. I usually wear a 10 but am wondering if a 9 1/2 would have been better.Nevertheless, I like this one a lot!I'm hard to please with casual boots. These Clark's are outstanding in style, quality, leather quality and footbed. The were just right for taking a walk, no breaking-in time. Plus, the treads are flexible and offer a close grip, helpful in our upcoming Colorado winters. I ordered a half size smaller and they fit really well.They look really stylish (perhaps only got old fogies like me) and are fairly priced compared to similar quality boots. My only gripe was that I had to send them back as they were too tight, which I found sad as I really like them.Rating relates to boot, not necessarily store. Pull strap tore on first putting boot on. A real shame, as rest of boot looks and feels well-constructed ... yet little confidence in boot after fail on first attempt. At ~£70 ... not expected. Fairly simple return procedure though.Boot fit true to size. I fit a EU 42 and it fit perfectly. Just purchased a Beeswax coating to keep the boots in good shape in the dry environment. They add a little bit of style to an otherwise hiking boot-style assignment. Great for airport travel too. It does not replace hiking boots for climbing and mountaineering. It is for the other times when walking about town and working from the truck. Get good reviews from the folks I work with as well. It's a great boot. I have the Foxwell Desert Tan lace up as well.
